Tiffany Hyde

Chief Underwriter

Ms. Hyde has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry with in-depth expertise in medical underwriting from her broad range of work with insurance carriers, national marketing and brokerage organizations and her educational background in nursing. Prior to joining and creating SteringBridge with SBIA, Ms. Hyde was Principal and President of a boutique general agency.

Ms. Hyde has extensive experience underwriting for high net worth life insurance cases and also educates brokers and clients on the intricacies of the medical and financial aspects of case design. She excels at managing and building relationships with carriers’ underwriting teams, chief underwriters and medical directors.

Ms. Hyde was previously with National Financial Partners (NFP) where she became part of the Special Case Unit that targeted the $250,000 plus market in the areas of medical and financial underwriting, reinsurance negotiations, and staging and phasing of life insurance cases up to and over $100 MM in death benefits.

Ms. Hyde also held positions at United of Omaha, US Financial and ING, where she focused on Underwriting to include cases with advanced sales strategies and the overall large case market.

Ms. Hyde has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has earned an FALU with matriculation in FLMI.
