Allison Gerwick

Director, Brokerage

Ms. Gerwick has over 10 years experience in the insurance industry and presently manages producer, carrier and other vendor relationships along with negotiating compensation and strategic partnerships that drive business. Ms. Gerwick also plays an important role in working with brokers to ensure client compatibility as it relates to product and case design on life insurance cases. Prior to joining and creating SteringBridge with SBIA, Ms. Gerwick was Principal and Vice President of a boutique general agency.

Ms. Gerwick was also previously with National Financial Partners (NFP) serving as Director of Annuities and Product Management, Director of Marketing for the Special Case Unit, and AVP of NFP Life Brokerage. Ms. Gerwick marketed the Special Case Unit's abilities to secure accounts for the $250,000 target premium high net worth life insurance case market. The Special Case Unit helped generate life insurance target premiums in excess of $200 MM.

Prior to her positions at NFP, Ms. Gerwick helped start a Brokerage General Agency, Allied Financial & Insurance Services that focused on life insurance and annuity sales and is still in business today. She started her career in the insurance industry with GE Financial Assurance, where she was a Career Agent focusing on life, annuity, LTC and Medicare Supplement sales. Ms. Gerwick received her B.A. from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and holds her Series 6 and 66 and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
